According to free dictionary dot com, a quirk is... A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy: "Every man had his own quirks and twists" (Harriet Beecher Stowe).
I have a few quirks myself. I don't like when something isn't straight, like a rug or a picture and I have to straighten it or it will drive me crazy. I love to sweep when I am at other peoples houses. If my children vacuum, they inevitably miss something and I am compelled to do it again, the right way.

oooh great word. quirk is great. i have some too, like making sure everything has it's place and putting it back when others move it.

Bear has no quirks, but lots of peculiarities. Like wearing a black leather vest with a pocket watch. Some said tonight at choir practice that I had just stepped off my Harley (as in Harley-Davidson motorcycle). A friend says I'm a "character" when I dress like that. I think, "Whatever."
I have also come out of retirement. After being off work for several years. Now serving as interim pastor of our big downtown church while our pastor is on medical leave. I mean, in how many churches have you seen a Bear leading worship? Anything quirkier than that?
One of my quirks is the fact that I can't concentrate or work if things around me are messy or disorganized. Before I write, I have to clean my table off. And my classroom is usually spotless.
