My Simple Pleasures For The Week

Hey ya'll I found this adorable Meme over at Susan's Blackberry Jam Cafe and thought I'd give it a try.  If you haven't been over there, go now, just click here or up there where it says...Blackberry Jam Cafe.  Got it? Good.

My simple pleasures for the week are the following:

Letting the boys sleep in an extra 20 minutes, which means not having to listen to them complain about how early it is.

Driving my hubby to work @5:30am. Yes it is early but it is a sweet time to spend together.

Riding my beach cruiser with my daughter and sons.  I had such a great time with them this past Sunday after Church riding around our beautiful city.

Sitting on the front porch bench enjoying the sunlight in the early evening, and listening to the birds twitter-tweet.

Taking time to relax, read the Bible, and just breathe, for me it's not about spending money, but spending time with the people and things I love.

Nothing like sitting on the porch, listening to the birds, watching the sun set, listening to the gras grow and Andy of Mayberry strummin' his guitar.

That is a warm spring or cool summer, what did you call them? Oh yes, Simple pleasure!

I don't get enough of those in life, let alone here in the rainy, cold, but gorgeous Pacific Northwest.
