IF I WERE A…MONTH; DAY; TIME OF DAY; SEASON; PLANET; DIRECTION; TREE; ANIMAL; MUSICAL; INSTRUMENT; FRIUT
FOOD; COLOUR; BOOK; SONG ; MOVIE; FLOWER; FACIAL EXPRESSION. WHAT WOULD I BE?

If I were a month I would be May, for that is when the pretty flowers strut their stuff! 

If I were a day, I would be a Saturday, for it is the day to just relax and breathe in the fresh air. 

If I were a time of day, I would be the moment the sun touches the horizon and shines on all. 

If I were a season, I would be Fall, for it is the time of wonderful sites and smells. 

If I were a planet, I would be the Moon for it is the planet that reflects the Sun. 

If I were a direction, I would be  East, so I could be front row and center when the sun peaks it's head over the horizon. 

If I were a tree, I would be the Sakura, for it's beautiful blooms. 

If I were an animal, I would be the Bald Eagle for it is a magical bird. 

If I were a musical instrument, I would be the Piano for it's melodic sound that brings happiness to all. 

If I were a fruit, I would be a  Watermelon, for it brings contentment on a hot day. 

If I were a food, I would be Pizza, it both fills and satisfies. 

If I were a color, I would be Pink, because that is my happy color. 

If I were a book, I would be the Bible, for it has all the answers and comforts the hurting. 

If I were a song, I would be Amazing Grace, for it tells a wonderful story of grace. 

If I were a movie, I would be The Wizard of Oz, for it parallels life strangely enough. 

If I were a flower, I would be a Tiger Lily, for it is the most beautiful of flowers. 

Last but not least, if I were a facial expression, I would be a Smile, for it gives hope to the hopeless, love to the unloved, and grace to those who need grace.

Me...Tagged?

I've been tagged by Ellie over @Ella's Edge, isn't that sweet.  I believe this is the first time I have been tagged so here goes...

Question 1. Where were you 5 years ago?
My family had just moved here from Brookings, over on the Oregon Coast. We lived about 3 minutes from the beach/ocean, so we spent a lot of weekends there.

Question 2. Where would you like to be 5 years from now?
Living here in Oregon, and experiencing almost empty nest syndrome.  Let's see two of my sons will be out of high school by then, another one will be in 11th grade and my daughter will be in 7-8th grade.  I would like to be able to say I am published but I won't be holding my breath. I want to be alive.

Question 3. What was (is) on your list to do today?
To develope some more of the story I am writing.  I have lunch with a good friend @12:30 at our store.  Shower. Eat healthy. Pick up daughter after school.  Pay some bills.  Cook dinner.  Live.

Question 4. What 5 snacks do you enjoy?
Special K bars.  Dark chocolate hershey nuggets w/almonds.  Edamame.  Oranges. Laughing cow cheese w/healthy crackers.

Question 5. What would you do if you were a billionaire?
Tithe enormously.  Buy new homes for my parents and my in-laws. Give to charities for diabetes, cancer, and other various ones. Buy a home in Italy, Hawaii, and Switzerland. Live, love and laugh.
