W...Is For Why?

Why...Great question, isn't it?

Why does a platypus have a duck bill, a beaver tail, and otter feet?

Why is it when you are looking for something, that thing just cannot be found, but when you are not looking for it, it suddenly appears out of nowhere?

Why is the sky blue? Oh yeah, never mind, the whole molecules in the air scatter blue light from the sun more than they scatter red light....but I digress.

Why do doctors leave the room when you change? I mean, they are going to see you naked anyway.

Why is there a disclaimer on the Allstate Auto Insurance commercials that says "Not available in all states"?

Why is the Lone Ranger called "Lone" when he always has his friend Tonto with him?

Why is vanilla ice-cream white when vanilla extract is brown?

Inquiring minds want to know!

I believe in the sun even when it is not shining. I believe in love even when I feel it not. I believe in God even when He is silent. *Written on a wall in a concentration camp*

Great stuff. Years ago I had started a novel called "Why," but never got very far and it got lost anyway because the computer crashed.

thanks for stopping by!

W is for "Why not?" If you're going to ask the question, why not phrase it positively?

But what does a Bear know? Really?
